Mascardo to Join Men’s Cross Country

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College cross country coach Vic Finora announced today that Nick Mascardo has signed a national letter of intent to run for the Cobras beginning in the 2013-14 academic year.

Mascardo is transferring to Coker after running cross country for Darton State College in Georgia. In addition, Mascardo made the dean's list, served on student government, and was part of the track and field club.

"Nick is one of the most dedicated and passionate runners to ever join our program," Finora said. Coming from a program like Darton, I know he understands what it takes to be successful. He will be counted on to be a leader for a relatively young squad. I am looking forward to working with Nick and watching him excel as a Cobra."

Originally form Pensacola, Fla., Mascardo attended West Florida High School of Advance Technology. He is the son of Terry Henderson, B.J. Henderson and Caesar Mascardo.
