Women’s Cross Country Signs Parham

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College cross country coach Vic Finora announced today that Rebecca Parham has signed a national letter of intent to run for the Cobras beginning in the 2013-14 academic year.

Parham comes to Coker from D.W. Daniel High School in Central, S.C. She lettered in cross country and track for the Lions. Her personal records include 16.14 (100-meter), 34.34 (200-meter) and 1:26.04 (400-meter).

"Rebecca is a high character young woman that embodies what Coker athletics is all about," said Finora. "She is a hard worker in the classroom, and has shown tremendous initiative and leadership skills in helping lead her high school team. I am thrilled that Rebecca will be joining the Cobra family."

Rebecca is the daughter of Herb and Cathy Parham.
