Women’s Cross Country Signs Hall
Head coach Vic Finora announced the first signing for the women's team today.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College cross country coach Vic Finora announced today that Taylor Hall has signed a national letter of intent to run for the Cobras beginning in the 2013-14 academic year.
"I am very excited that Taylor will be a Cobra next year," said Finora. Throughout her career, Taylor has proven to be a fierce competitor on the course and a dedicated student in the classroom. She brings immediate experience and leadership to what will be a relatively young squad. I believe Taylor still hasn't reached her potential, and I will lean on her early to instill a strong work ethic and winning attitude within our program."
Hall is transferring to Coker from Darton College in Georgia, where she was a two-sport athlete in cross country and women's basketball as well as an academic All-American. At Darton she was part of two conference championships, two regional championships and two appearances in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Cross Country Nationals.
Hall is originally from Effingham County High School in Springfield, Ga. She was a four-sport athlete for the Rebels in cross country, basketball, soccer and softball.
Taylor is the daughter of Thomas Hall and Blaine and Catina Deal.
