2012: Competed in two cross country meets for the season.  Finished the 5k event in a time of 24:02, and paced the 8k event with a time of 37:59. 

High School: Trilla was a standout player at Timber Creek High School, where he had 238 kills, 33 aces, 150 digs and 53 blocks during his senior season. He played club volleyball for the Toreros Volleyball Academy where he was team captian for the 2011-12 season. While playing for Toreros he was a member of the 2010 AAU National Runner-up team.

Personal: Son of LiMarie Espada and Emilio Trilla...he was a member of the National Beta Club, Spanish National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. Emilio is also a member of Coker's men's volleyball team.
