Coker's Bates Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College freshman men's cross country runner Dylan Bates (Scarborough, Ontario) has been named to the 2011 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Academic Cross Country Team.

In order to qualify for the team student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher and they must place in the top 50 percent of the most recent NCAA Championship or in the top 30 percent at the NCAA Regional Championship.

Bates is one of just six student-athletes from Conference Carolinas to be named to the 2011 Division II All-Academic Team.
