Wingate, NC- The Coker College Cross Country Teams competed in the 2007 Southeast Regional Meet on Saturday, at Wingate University. The men’s team finished in tenth place, while the women finished in 14th place. Kendyl Seawright was the one Cobra named to the All-Region Team. Seawright finished in 9th place, just three spots from going to nationals, with a time of 24:43.

As a team the Cobra men placed better than three fellow Conference Carolinas schools, while the women defeated conference foe Belmont Abbey.

Individually, for the women, following Seawright was Shannon Townely with a time of 27:29, while Dana Daves finished with a time of 27:49. Nicole Coke came in at 28:50, followed by Heidi Rienstra had a time of 29:15 and Ashley Cupp finished with a time of 31:55.
