Greensboro, NC- The Coker College Cross Country Teams ran in the Hagan Stone Invitational on Saturday, September 29, in Greensboro, NC, and they came home with a third and fourth place finish. The Cobra women placed third out of seven teams, while the men placed fourth out of eight teams.

In the women’s race 5k race, Kendyl Seawright (Manalapan, NJ) led the way with a time of 20:06, just one second off the Coker record, and a third place finish. She was followed by Monica Taylor (Lexington, SC) in 14th place at 21:44, while Shannon Townley (Anniston, AL) finished in 20th place at 22:41. Danna Daves (York, SC) was next in 22nd place at 23:07, followed by Heidi Rienstra (Brockville, Ontario) in 24th with a time of 23:35. Nicole Coke (Summerville, SC) finished in 28th with a time of 24:07, while Ashley Cupp (North Augusta, SC) came in at 24:43 and Noelle Sharbono (Pembroke Pines, FL) finished with a time of 25:06.

The Coker Cross Country Teams next meet will be on Saturday, October 6, as they travel to Orlando, FL, for the Disney Classic.
