Gaffney, SC- The Coker College Men’s Cross Country Team won their second race of the season, as they took first place in the Limestone Invitational on Saturday in collegiate cross country.

 

Leading the way was senior David Green finishing in second place, just 20 seconds behind the winner with a time of 27:25. Fellow senior Tyler Carroll came in next in fourth place at 28:04, with Sam Githinji following in a close sixth place with a time of 28:13. Kevin Ganiel finished with a time of 28:43 in 14th place, while Adam Green came in at 29:43 in 20th place. Michael Koshis finished at 33:10 and Nathan Hansen did not finish the race.

 

This is an excellent win for the Cobras who defeated fellow CVAC schools, Erskine, Limestone and Pfeiffer. The next meet for the Coker Cross County Team is on Saturday, October 7, when they travel to the Disney Classic in Orlando, FL.
