Wingate, NC- On Saturday, the Coker College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams Competed in the Pre- Region meet at Wingate University, with the men placing fifth out of 14 teams and the women placing 11th out of 16 teams.
In the women’s 6k race, Heidi Rienstra led the way for Coker with a time of 27:41, followed by Dana Daves at 27:52. Shannon Townley was next at 27:58 and then Monica Taylor with a time of 28:01. Noell Sharbono came in at 28:58, followed by Amy Jones with a time of 30:21. Ashley Cupp and Jennifer Graham were next with times of 30:28 and 35:48 respectively and Marissa Shinkovich rounded out the Coker runners with a time of 38:52.
