Spartanburg, SC- The Coker Cross Country Teams got a first hand look at the course they will run in this years CVAC championship, as they ran in the CVAC Pre-Conference meet in Spartanburg, SC. Both teams faired well, with room for improvement, as the men finished fourth out of 22 teams overall, and were third out of CVAC teams, while the women were 14th out of 24 teams overall, and were seventh out of the CVAC teams.

In the men’s race, senior David Green led the way with a ninth place finish at 27:28, followed by Nathan Hansen at 27:52. Next was Kevin Ganiel with a time of 28:06, while Sam Githinji came in next at 28:14. Tyler Carroll finished at 29:22, followed by Adam Green 29:51. Rounding out the Coker men was Michael Koshis at 33:14.

The next meet for the Cobras will be the Pre-Region meet in Wingate, NC, on Saturday, September 16.
