Wingate, NC- As for the Cobra Women, as a team they placed 19^th out of 19 teams. Mars Hill also won the women’s race and Carson Newman placed 2^nd.

Sophomore Noelle Sharbono finished the 6K race with at time of 28:45, followed by freshman Shannon Townley at 29:09. Senior Rnesha Baldwin came in at 32:27, while sophomores Elizabeth Cox and Jennifer Graham finished at 36:05 and 37:24 respectively.

With their season over, both teams will take a short break before training for a few spring races and next fall begins at the start of next semester.
