The Cobras were led by Sophomore Noel Sharbono/ Pembroke Pines, FL and freshman Shannon Townley/Anniston, AL who placed ninth and tenth with times of 24:07 and 24:11. As a team the women finished third behind UNC Pembroke and Francis Marion.

Finishing out the field for the Cobras were senior Rnesha Baldwin/ Bolingbrook, IL (25:13), sophomore Elizabeth Cox/ N. Myrtle Beach, SC (29:49) and fellow sophomore Jenn Graham/ Bel Air, MD (33:35).

The Cobras next meet will be the NCAA Southeast Pre-Region Meet at Wingate University on Saturday, September 17 at 10 a.m.
