COBRAS FINISH 13TH IN SAC CHAMPIONSHIP

NEWBERRY, SC - The Coker Cobras recently competed in the SAC Cross Country Conference Championships hosted at Newberry College. The Cobras finished the 6k competition in 13th with a team score of (70, 76, 78, 83, 84) 391. The Cobras tied to Limestone who also finished the competition with a team score of 391 however Limestone beat out the Cobras in heartbreaking fashion in the tiebreaker.

The Cobras were led to the finish line by Freshman Olivia Durham who completed the 6k with a final time of 28:42. Durham was then followed by Diamond Bailey and Kah'liyah Geddis who finished with times of 31:59 and 33:22 respectively. Then rounding out the Cobra's lineup were Massassi Maxwell-Smith and Dakota Jernigan who finished their races within a second of each other with times of 35:11 and 35:12
