CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coker University women's cross country team traveled to Charleston, S.C.  to compete in the Charleston Classic on Saturday (Oct. 5).

Junior Chauntress like led the way for the Cobras with a time of 20:37.6, and finishing tenth overall. Freshman Kaite Spence finished close behind with a time of  21:50.9, while Destiny Ingram finished with a time of 23:50.6.

The Cobras finished with a team score of 125 placing them ahead of South Carolina State.

Coker will be back in action on Friday (Oct. 11) when they travel to Charlotte, N.C. to compete in the Royals XC Challenge. Race time is slated for 4:30 p.m.
