Wingate, N.C.- The Coker University women's cross country team finished 15th at the Bulldog Stampede on Saturday (Sept. 21). 

Freshman Katie Spence lead the way for the Cobras with a time of 25:39.95, while junior  Chauntress Like followed closely behind her with race time of 26:44.36. Destiny Ingram finished third for the Cobras with a time of 28:24.41.

The Cobras recorded a total score of 421 placing them closely behind Newberry (405). 

Coker will be back in action Friday (Sept. 27), when they travel to Queens (N.C.) to compete in the Queens City Invitational. The race time is slated for 5:00 p.m.
