Blume Nets 800th Kill In Loss To Wingate

Blume Nets 800th Kill In Loss To Wingate

In a Women's Volleyball match, Coker faced off against Wingate at Cuddy Arena. The match ended in favor of Wingate, with a final score of 3-0.

Coker struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match, with Wingate winning each set. In the first set, Coker struggled to gain momentum. Wingate took advantage of Coker's errors and won the set 25-11. The second set saw Coker improve their hitting percentage, but it wasn't enough to match Wingate's strong offense. Wingate continued to showcase their dominance, winning the set 25-22. In the final set, Wingate maintained control of the match, resulting in a 25-10 victory for Wingate.

Although Coker faced a tough opponent, there were a few standout performances. Chelsey Blume led Coker with 8 kills, while Lauren Loveday contributed 14 digs. This evening, Blume recorded her 800th kill, a mark that not many hit in their career. She has been a great player for the Cobras for her five years with the program and we thank her for her unwavering dedication.

The Cobras will wrap up the season on Friday, November 10 at home against Lincoln Memorial University. This will also be senior night.   First serve is 7:00 pm.
