Cobra Volleyball Puts Up Valiant Effort Against Mars Hill

Mars Hill, NC - In a match between Coker and Mars Hill women's volleyball teams, Mars Hill emerged as the victors with a 3-1 win. However, Coker put up a strong fight throughout the match.

In the first set, Coker took an early lead and maintained their advantage, winning the set with a score of 25-16. Taylor Hills and Lauren Loveday led the offensive charge for Coker, contributing six and 14 kills respectively. Meadow Morse provided crucial assists, totaling seven for the set.

The second set saw a shift in momentum, with Mars Hill downing Coker with a score of 25-15. Coker struggled to find their rhythm and Mars Hill capitalized on that fact. Both teams battled it out in the third set, but Mars Hill ultimately emerged victorious with a score of 25-19. In the final set, Mars Hill sealed their victory with a score of 25-18.
