Volleyball Falls at Limestone Friday Night

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Coker University Volleyball fell to Limestone in South Atlantic Conference action Friday night (Oct. 7) by a score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 29-27). 

Chelsey Blume led the way with 10 kills in the match, while Nehemiah Jinks also had seven kills and Lauren Loveday also registered six. Taylor Hills and Ramsaye Wakinekona each had four kills, while Alexis Kopicki also registered three kills in the match. Adriana Velez and Kendal Boland each dished out 13 assists in the match, while Makayla Harris had four and Loveday and Alex Williams each had one. Harris also posted one service ace in the match. Harris also posted 14 digs in the match, while eight others also had digs in the contest. Blume had two solo blocks in the match, while Loveday and Jinks each had one. Blume also led the way with three block assists, while Hills and Wakinekona each had two and Jinks also had one. 

The Cobras return to the court on Friday, Oct. 14 to host Lincoln Memorial for the start of Homecoming weekend. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. from the DeLoach Center, with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
