SALISBURY, N.C. - The Coker University volleyball team fell at Catawba Wednesday night (Nov. 10) in South Atlantic Conference action by a score of 3-0.
Chelsey Blume paced the Cobras with six kills, while Taylor Hills and Emily Everton each had four kills in the match. Naomi Earl-Reyes finished with three kills, while Carson Fuller added two and Makayla Harris, Lauren Loveday and Alex Williams each had one. Ashley Carson dished out a team-high nine assists in the contest, while Rami Mullen added six and Kendal Boland also had three. Harris and Fuller also each had one assist in the match. Four different Cobras registered service aces in the match. Mullen had a team-high six digs in the match, while Everton and Williams each had five digs in the contest. Five other Cobras posted digs in the contest. Blume and Earl-Reyes each had two block assists in the match, while Fuller and Breyon Forrest each had one.
The Cobras conclude the regular season on Saturday (Nov. 13) at Queens (N.C.). First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. from Charlotte, N.C., with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
