Volleyball Earns 2020-21 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Coker University volleyball team earned the 2020-21 United States Marine Corps (USMC)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, announced by the organization today (Monday, July 19).

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Coker University volleyball team earned the 2020-21 United States Marine Corps (USMC)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, announced by the organization today (Monday, July 19).
Coker was one of 1,275 teams across all levels to earn the award, including 10 from the South Atlantic Conference.
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
Coker earned the award for the second consecutive year with a 3.37 team grade point average. Academically, Coker also landed 10 players on the 2020-21 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
