Du Bray Sets Single-Season Kills Record as Cobras Fall to Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Coker College women's volleyball team dropped a South Atlantic Conference contest to the Catawba Indians 3-0 (20-25, 24-26, 19-25) on Tuesday (Oct. 30).

It was a historic night for Taylor du Bray who led the way for the Cobras with 12 kills and 13 digs. Her third kill of the match broke her own Coker College single-season kills record of 339 kills that she set last year. Du Bray also passed Taylor Willis (2011-13) for seventh place on the Cobras' all-time kills list.

Olivia Cerick had a good showing for the Cobras as well, recording nine kills and 10 digs, and Rami Mullen notched 32 assists and nine digs in the match.

The Cobras will be back in action for Senior Night on Friday (Nov. 3) when they host the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters in the DeLoach Center. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
