JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Coker College women's volleyball team fell to Carson-Newman 3-2 (21-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 8-15) in a South Atlantic Conference contest on Saturday (Sept. 22).
The Cobras dropped the first two sets before rallying back to force the fifth and decisive set.
Taylor du Bray and Olivia Cerick recorded double-doubles, and Rami Mullen notched 17 digs and 45 assists. Du Bray and Cerick led all players with 19 kills each. Lana Strejcek chipped in 14 kills and six blocks as well.
Coker will be back in action on Tuesday (Sept. 25) when they host a rematch against Queens (N.C.) in the DeLoach Center. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
