
Cobras Host Eagles Friday Evening
The Coker College women’s volleyball team will square off against the visiting Carson Newman Eagles on Friday (Sept. 22) at 7 p.m. in a South Atlantic Conference matchup.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball team will square off against the visiting Carson Newman Eagles on Friday (Sept. 22) at 7 p.m. in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. Live stats and video will be found at www.cokercobras.com.
The Navy and Gold will look to improve upon its 6-4 record at the friendly confines of the DeLoach Center.
The Cobras boast three players with 70 or more kills so far this season. Madison Bingle (73), Bethany Prochnow (73), and Christen Bragg (71) have been essential pieces to Coker's offense with over 70 kills each.
On the defensive side of the ball, Kara Overholt has a team-high 154 digs and Bethany Prochnow has a total of 41 blocks.
The Eagles come into the matchup with a 1-7 overall record. They are led by Marnie Streeter (68 kills) and Taylor Lowe (152 digs).
As mentioned, the match will begin at 7 p.m. in the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
