Coker Falls Short Against #9 Wingate

The Coker women's volleyball team lost a three-set match to No. 9 Wingate on Tuesday (Nov. 12).

WINGATE, N.C. – Taylor Willis had a match high 10 kills in the Coker Cobras 3-0 loss to the No. 9 Wingate Bulldogs on Tuesday (Nov.12) night. The Bulldogs defeated the Cobras 25-11, 25-15 and 25-13.

In addition to Willis' 10 kills, Hannah Vadakin knocked down five kills and Cassandra Nagel had four kills and eight digs. Samantha Celek added 19 assists and Mindy Morris had a match high 10 digs.

The Cobras will return home for their final three matches of the season this weekend. The first match is at 7 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 15) against Mars Hill.
