Coker Drops SAC Match to Mars Hill

MARS HILL, N.C. – Taylor Willis knocked down a match high 13 kills, and Mindy Morris had a match high 21 digs in Coker's 3-0 loss to Mars Hill in South Atlantic Conference women's volleyball action on Friday (Oct. 11) night.
The Lions defeated the Cobras 25-22, 25-21 and 25-16.
In addition to her 13 kills, Willis had five digs and a block. Amanda Harris added 10 kills and eight digs, while Celia Duggan had six kills and Loren Hill had five kills and eight digs. Samantha Celek and Kelly Stine split the setting duties, with Celek handing out 22 assists and Stine dishing out 15.
The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Oct. 12) in a SAC match at Tusculum College. First serve is set for noon.
