Cobra Women's Volleyball to Host Mount Olive and Barton this Weekend
The Coker women's volleyball will play host to Mount Olive and Barton in a pair of Conference Carolinas matches this weekend.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Cobra women's volleyball team will play host to Mount Olive College and Barton College in a pair of Conference Carolinas matches this weekend on Friday (Oct. 26) and Saturday (Oct. 27). Both matches will be video streamed online at www.cokercobras.com.
Coker enters the weekend in third place in the East Division of the conference standings with five matches (four league) remaining in the season. The top four teams from each division advance to the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
In their last match the Cobras defeated the Braves of UNC Pembroke 3-2. Leading the attack for Coker with a combined 26 kills were April Griggs and Taylor Willis.
Mount Olive enters Friday's match having lost eight of their last nine matches, with their most recent loss coming against Pfeiffer (3-1).
Barton comes into the weekend having lost their most recent match to Francis Marion, 3-0.
Friday's match will begin at 7 p.m., while Saturday's will start at 12:30 p.m. Both matches will be played at Coker's Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
