
Women’s Volleyball Voted No. 9 in Conference Preseason Poll
The Conference Carolinas preseason coaches' poll was released. Check and see where the women's volleyball team is ranked.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball team was voted No. 9 in the Conference Carolinas preseason coaches' poll, it was announced by the conference.
The Cobras have their entire roster returning from 2011, which includes third team all-conference selection Taylor Willis. Five new players join this year's team, with four freshmen and a junior transfer.
Coker begins its season Friday at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Invitational Tournament.
Lees-McRae just nipped Queens for first place in the poll. Lees-McRae had six first-place votes and 113 total points; Queens also had six first-place votes and 112 points. The entire poll is as follows:

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletic conference made up of 12 teams from North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions are Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Coker College, Converse College, Erskine College, King College, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, Mount Olive College, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University and Queens University of Charlotte.
