2011-12 Individual Stats

2012: Due to injury, McElveen only played in two games during the 2012 season.  She landed two sets and five digs on the year.  

2011: McElveen played in all 28 matches for the Cobras in 2011 and was one of the team leaders in nearly every statistical category. She was fourth on the team in kills with 140, third in service aces with 30 and was second in digs with 291. She was also fifth on the team in total blocks with 20. She recorded 10+ kills in four matches, including 18 against Pfeiffer (9/27), 12 against North Greenville (10/15), 11 versus Barton (11/2) and 10 against Pfeiffer (11/4). McElveen had 13 matches with 10+ digs, including a career high 34 against Barton (11/2).

2010: Named the Team MVP as a freshman, McElveen led the Cobras offense with 192 kills on the year and 2.16 kills per game in 2010. Katie had a solid serving percentage of .87 and earned 25 aces on year. McElveen also led the team in digs recording 203 on year. She was named Coker's Freshman Athlete of the Year, as well as being named the volleyball MVP.

High School: A Four-Time All-Region and All-State player at Robert E. Lee Academy. McElveen was named Conference Player of the Year, the Coaches Award winner and Team MVP in her time at Robert E. Lee.

Personal: Daughter of Earl and Trina McElveen...she has one sibling, Dakota...she serves as the Vice President of Coker's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...she also plays softball for the Cobras, where she was named Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year in 2011, received the coaches award and was named a NFCA All-America Scholar in 2011.
