2011-12 Individual Stats

2012: Griggs played in 27 matches for Coker during the 2012 season.  She was third on the team with 169 kills, and had four games of 10+ kills. Griggs was fifth on the team with 100 sets, and slatted 25 solo blocks, and 30 block assits on the year.  

2011: Griggs played in all 28 matches for the Cobras in 2011, finishing third on the team in kills with 157. She was also third on the team in blocks with 52. April recorded 10+ kills in two matches, with 13 against Converse (9/16) and 10 against Barton (11/8). Her season high for blocks was six against Francis Marion (9/14).

2010: Griggs led her team with an impressive hitting average of .246 and tallied 127 kills for the Cobras in 2010. A force at the net April led Coker in blocks for the second year in a row recording 33 total blocks on the year.

2009: April played in 92 matches during her freshman campaign recording 136 kills, 20 aces and a team leading 58 total blocks.

High School: Griggs lettered in volleyball and track at Robert E. Lee Academy. She played club volleyball for the Sumter Juniors.

Personal: Daughter of Melissa and Randy Griggs.
