Raleigh, N.C. – With a 3-1 loss to St. Augustine’s College Monday night in collegiate volleyball, the Coker volleyball team falls to 1-18 on the year. The Lady Cobras lost the first two sets of the match 27-25 and 25-17 before taking the third set 27-25, but they were unable to send the match into a deciding fifth set when they lost the fourth set 25-19.

Freshman Abby Frame (Sylvania, Ohio) led the way for Coker with eight kills and eight assists, while Jordan Hancock (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) had five kills. Kayla Hopper (Newberry, S.C.) led the Lady Cobras in digs with seven and Molly Bookhart (Orangeburg, S.C.) had 11 assists in the match.

Coker returns to action on Friday, Oct. 9, when the Lady Cobras host Pfeiffer University at 7:00 p.m. at the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
