Columbia, S.C. – With a 3-1 loss to the Fighting Koalas of Columbia College, the Coker volleyball team’s losing streak was extended to seven matches on Wednesday night. The Lady Cobras (1-9, 0-2) lost the first set 25-13, but bounced back with a 25-21 win in set number two only to lose sets three and four with scores of 25-17 and 25-15.

Lisa Ross (Bowling Green, Ky.) led the Coker attack, netting seven kills with nine digs, while Cynallyhia Indriago (Columbia, S.C.) had six kills. Trisha Moore (Rock Hill, S.C.) led the defense with 10 digs and Abby Frame (Sylvania, Ohio) had 18 assists and seven digs.

The Lady Cobras will take a much needed break before returning to action on Tuesday, Sept. 15 when they host St. Andrews Presbyterian College in their home opener at 7:00 p.m. in the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium on the campus of Coker College.
