Hickory, N.C.- In their second match of the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational volleyball tournament, the Lady Cobras fell to the host Lenoir-Rhyne, 3-0. Although the scores were close, Coker (0-2) was unable to pick up a set for the second straight match, falling in straight sets, 28-26, 25-23 and 25-17.

Lisa Ross (Bowling Green Ky.) was the kill leader for the Lady Cobras, knocking down five kills, while Cynallyhia Indriago (Columbia, S.C.) had four kills. Abby Frame (Sylvania, Ohio) had nine assists and two blocks, with Molly Bookhart (Orangeburg, S.C.) dishing out five assists with three blocks. Kristin Teets (Columbia, S.C.) Ross and Indriago each had three digs.

Coker returns to the court on Saturday in the second day of action at the L-R Invitational. The Lady Cobras take on Fayetteville State in their first match at 10:00 a.m. followed by their second match at 2:00 p.m. against Wingate.
