Hartsville, SC- Nothing heals a tough loss like getting a big win in the next game, so after Coker’s losing Saturday to Converse College, a big win is just what the doctor ordered as the Cobras defeated Queens University on Tuesday night in CVAC volleyball. The Cobras won 3-0 with scores of 30-14, 30-21 and 30-17.

 

Leading the Coker attack were Margaret Madison and Allie Bragg who each had 10 kills, while Bragg added four blocks. Tara Nelson gave Coker 30 assists and three aces, while Kelsey Carlson had six aces and seven digs. Megan Haupt had 10 digs and Lauren Larsen had five blocks in the win.

 

The Coker Volleyball Team will hit the road for their next couple games, starting with traveling to St. Andrews on Thursday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m.
