
KITT AND JERNIGAN SCORE AT THE SAC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Winston-Salem, NC: The men's track and field team competed in the SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC. The Cobras finished in 12th place with a total of 4 points over the weekend.

Dakota Jernigan | High Jump | 1.55m | 8th Place | 1 point
HOW IT HAPPENED:
TRACK EVENTS:
In the 60m hurdles prelims Coker sent Patience Lisbon to represent the Cobras. Lisbon finished 11th overall in the prelims with a final time of 9.14 seconds. Moving on to the 200m Lisbon took 24th overall with a final time of 26.76 seconds.
FIELD EVENTS:
In the field, Dakota Jernigan competed in the high jump where she took 8th overall and scored 1 point for the Cobras as she jumped a final height of 1.55m. In the Women's Long Jump, Massassi Maxwell-Smith jumped the highest for the Cobras with a final height of 5.16m. Then to round out the Women's weekend Lyniah Kitt took 6th overall in the Triple Jump earning the Cobras 3 points with a final distance of 11.12m.

The Cobras will be heading outdoors as they compete in the Spring Break Invitational on March 14th and 15th.
