Women's Track & Field Competes in Day 1 of the Camel City Invitational
The Coker University Women's Track & Field team had an impressive start at the Camel City Invitational. The athletes showcased their skills and determination, leaving their mark on the competition.
In the Women's 60m qualifying race, Kelsey Smith led the team with a remarkable time of 8.63 seconds in Heat 6. Her speed and agility were unmatched as she effortlessly crossed the finish line. Following closely behind was Kat Andrews, finishing with a time of 8.97 seconds in Heat 7. Despite facing tough competition, Andrews displayed her exceptional talent and secured a solid position for the team.
Majorie Hurd also participated in Heat 7 of the Women's 60m event, finishing with a time of 9.44 seconds. Her dedication and hard work were evident as she pushed through the race, never losing sight of her goals. Nehemiah Jinks and McKay Kasper also gave their all in Heat 7, finishing with times of 10.11 seconds and 10.45 seconds, respectively.
