Coker competes at Southern Wesleyan
Central, SC. – Coker headed on the road to take part in the SWU Invitational. The Cobras had some solid performances and a few athletes in the top ten.
Mariah Mitchem was the spotlight performer of the meet. She took 2nd in the 200 with a time of 24.84. Mitchmen kept it rolling in the 400 as she placed 3rd with a solid performance of 57.84. Jael Stauffer took 3rd in the long jump, reaching a length of 5.51 Meters. Naizja Redding performed outstandingly in the 100 hurdles; she finished 5th place with a 15.29 and Arianna Williams with a 15.57 took 7th place. Nya Exum competed in the 100 sprints as she hit a time of 12.42. Redding and Ayanna English both ran the 100 as well and both hit times of 12.74 and 12.92. Taylor Marotta ran a 2:46.30 in the 800 and Shawnteanna Tillman ran a 2:54.63. Williams and Michaela Hayes both took on the 400 hurdles as they hit times of 1:13.22 and 1:16.09. English ran the half-lap race clocking in a time of 26.77. Kayla Mitchell threw an 8.52 in the shot put.
