Women’s Track and Field Competes at The Adidas Trojan Challenge
Women's Track and Field head to North Carolina for the season opener
Mount Olive NC. - Women's Track and Field had some highlights through the invitational. Coker had some athletes break into the top ten in a tough invitational.
Stephani Forrester finished in 9th place in the 400 final with a time of 1:03.48. Shawnteanna Tillman completed the one-lap race in 1:10.53 finishing in 15th place. Michaela Hayes started off her outdoor campaign with an 8th-place finish with a time of 1:14.68. Ayanna English and Nya Exum took on the 100-meter dash finishing 18th and 31st with a time of 13.17 and 13.26. Naizja Redding came in 23rd place in the 200-meter dash. Kayla Mitchell and Lexi Smith competed in the discus throw hitting distances of 27.73m and 26.00m. Mitchell hit a distance of 8.69 in the shot put. Catherine Cann ran 6:05.463 in the open 1500.
