MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Coker women's track and field team competed Saturday (Mar. 26) at the Adidas Trojan Challenge in Mount Olive, N.C.

Freshman Mariah Mitchem finished in fifth place in the 400 meter dash, as she posted a time of 59.33. The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Mariah Mitchem, Alera Jackson, Syriah Lottimore, and Jael Stauffer also finished in fifth with a time of 50.31. 

Destiny Ingram picked up a seventh place finish in the 800 meter run, recording a time of 2:26.98. Arianna Williams posted a 1:13.18 in the 400 meter hurdles, good enough for a fifth place finish. 

The Cobras will be back in action next weekend (April 1-2) when they compete at the Vertklasse Meeting in High Point, N.C. Coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
