Women's Track and Field Kicks Off Season at Mondo College Invitational
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Coker University women’s track team completed competition at the Mondo College Invitational meet on Saturday (Jan. 15).
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Coker University women's track team completed competition at the Mondo College Invitational meet on Saturday (Jan. 15).
Calene Lazare led the way with an eighth place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.94.
Stephanie Forrester captured 12th place in the 400 meter dash, while Destiny Ingram placed 13th in the 600 meter. They posted times of 1:04.49 and 1:48.87 respectively.
The Cobras will be back in action next Sunday (January 23) when they return to Winston-Salem to compete in the Flat is Fast Invitational with start time scheduled for 10 AM. Coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
