
St. John Sets New Shot Put Record at the USC Open
Columbia, S.C. - The Coker University women's track and field team completed competition at the USC Open on Saturday (April 17). The Cobras had a strong showing, placing in several events and breaking a school record in the process.

Sierra St. John took down her own school record for the shot put with a mark of 11.55m, placing 15th in the event.
In the 100m dash, Calene Lazare placed ninth with a time of 12.23 seconds.
In the long jump, Tori Bosner placed 19th with a mark of 4.21 meters.
Jada Holton placed 18th in the triple jump with a mark of 10.0 meters.
The Cobras are back in action again Saturday (April. 24) when they travel to Hickory, N.C. to compete in the SAC Outdoor Championships. Live coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
