Trinity White, Kayla Ruff, and Mikayla Cline Set School Records at JDL January College Kick-Off

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Records fell as the Coker College women's track and field team put on an impressive display at the JDL January College Kick-Off on Sunday (Jan. 13).

Trinity White won the women's 600-meter race with a school record time of 1:45.53. Breanna Sullivan notched the seventh-fastest time in Coker history in the same race with a time of 1:52.71.

Meanwhile, Kayla Ruff recorded the fastest 60-meter hurdles time in school history, finishing second overall with a time of 8.96.

The Cobras also had a standout performance in the shot put where Mikayla Cline broke the Coker record with a distance of 33' 9 ¼, and Caterra Barkins posted the seventh-best distance in school history at 31' 10''.

The Cobras will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Columbia to compete in the Gamecock Inaugural.
