COBRAS TO FACE UNDEFEATED CATAWBA, MARS HILL THIS WEEK

Salisbury, NC | Hartsville, SC - After some much-needed rest, the Cobras are back in action! They will take on the Catawba Indians and the Mars Hill Lions this week in continued conference play.

• Jade Bellegy hasn't lost a singles match since March 6th against Wingate
• The Cobras are currently fourth in the SAC standings with a 7-2 conference record
• Catawba sits at the top of the table with an undefeated record both overall and in conference. They are currently ranked as the seventh-best team in all of DII Women's Tennis

Last Time Out

• The Cobras defeated the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne in dramatic fashion last Tuesday in a 4-3 thriller!
• The Cobras lost the doubles point but quickly gained the lead with Bellegy and Emerson Banning taking straight-set wins in dominant fashion
• LR tied it at 2-2, but the Cobras retook the lead at 3-2 after a Tamara Macias win on court five
• Tied at 3-3, it all came down to Caroline Myers on court six. After losing the first set, she won the second to even it up. Then, she was down 1-3 in the third but earned two straight breaks to ultimately get the victory for her and the team!
