Cobra Corner
- Senior Jade Bellegy, a Pre-Season All-SAC Second Team honoree, is off to a hot start in singles. She is 3-0 in victories against Lander, North Greenville, and Francis Marion, doing so from the one spot.
- Caroline Myers is the other Cobra undefeated this season, battling for wins at the fifth and sixth singles spots. She has been a model of consistency at the end of the lineup, having yet to drop a set in her matches this season.
- Five of six of the Cobras are .500+ in their singles matches this season, and that record will look to improve this weekend.
Last Time Out
- The Cobras fell in a heartbreaking match against the Francis Marion Patriots with a final score of 4-3 in favor of FMU
- It was a tough loss in the doubles point, with the first doubles pair dropping a 6-4 decision to give the point to FMU in a competitive match-up
- The Cobras were able to pick up three of the four wins they needed, winning at the one (Bellegy), five ( Tamara Macias), and six (Myers) spots
- That fourth singles win was so close they could taste it as the Cobras dropped a three-setter at fourth singles that proved to be the deciding matchup
