WOMEN'S TENNIS TO HOST BEARCATS IN SEASON OPENER

Hartsville, SC - After a strong Fall season from the Coker Women's Tennis team, they are ready to kick back off in a big way against the Bearcats from Lander!

Cobra Corner

Last season, the Cobras dropped some key matches which kept them from qualifying for postseason play in the South Atlantic Conference. Finishing ninth in both the regular season standings in 2024 and the SAC Preseason Poll to begin this season, they will look to greatly exceed those expectations throughout the year.

Last year, the Cobras also opened the season with the Bearcats, with the Cobras capturing the 6-1 victory on the road. Current Cobras Jade Bellegy (6-2, 6-1 at 1st Singles), Salome Sierra (7-5, 6-1 at 2nd Singles), Emerson Banning (6-1, 6-1 at 4th Singles), Tamara Macias (6-0, 6-2 at 5th Singles), and Caroline Myers (6-1, 6-2 at 6th Singles) all took victories in that match-up and will look to do the same tomorrow afternoon.
