Cobras Take Down Cavaliers

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker women’s tennis team picked up a South Atlantic Conference victory against the UVA-Wise Cavaliers by a 5-2 score.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker women's tennis team picked up a South Atlantic Conference victory against the UVA-Wise Cavaliers by a 5-2 score.

The No. 2 doubles team of Tamara Macias/Olivia Drake defeated Wise's Grace Hall/Anna Hupperten by a line of 6-0, but the Cavs took the doubles point.

Jessica Binzari won at No. 1 singles by a 3-6,6-3,7-5 scoreline and Tamara Macias was victorious at No. 2 singles 6-2,6-1. Angelina Krieg took down Anna Hupperten at No. 3 singles 6-4,6-0 and Khushi Agarwal posted a win at No. 4 singles 6-0,6-4. Olivia Drake rounded out the day with a 6-2,6-0 win at No. 5 singles.

The Cobras will return to action Tuesday (Apr. 5) when they host Catawba at 2pm. Coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
