Women's Tennis Falls to Mars Hill on Friday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University women’s tennis fell to Mars Hill on Friday (Apr. 1) in South Atlantic Conference action by a score of 5-2.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University women's tennis fell to Mars Hill on Friday (Apr. 1) in South Atlantic Conference action by a score of 5-2.

Tamara Macias and Olivia Drake teamed up for a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles over Amanda Kadiri and Lauren Schave, despite Mars Hill winning the doubles point.

Macias also picked up a win at No. 2 singles over Ines Rodriguez by a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, while Angelina Krieg earned a 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (7-2) victory over Maria Razzetta at No. 3 singles.

The Cobras return to action tomorrow (Saturday, Apr. 2) against UVA Wise for Senior Day. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m. from the Coker Tennis Courts.
