Cobras Dominant Against Johnson C. Smith
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Coker University women’s tennis team picked up a non-conference victory on Sunday (Feb. 20) with a 6-1 victory over Johnson C. Smith.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Coker University women's tennis team picked up a non-conference victory on Sunday (Feb. 20) with a 6-1 victory over Johnson C. Smith.
The Cobras clinched the doubles point behind wins from No. 1 doubles team Jessica Binzari/Angelina Krieg 6-3 and No. 2 doubles team Tamara Macias/Olivia Drake 6-2. Binzari was successful in No. 1 singles 6-1,6-2 and Macias won at No. 2 singles 6-4,3-6,10-8. Drake won at No. 3 singles 6-3,6-3 and Michelle Schaub was dominant at No. 5 singles 6-0,6-0. Khushi Agarwal capped off the day with a win at No. 6 singles 6-3,6-1.
Coker will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 23) when they host Francis Marion at 1 p.m.. Coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
