Women's Tennis Falls to Francis Marion on Saturday

FLORENCE, S.C. - The Coker University women's tennis team fell to Francis Marion in non-conference action on Saturday (Feb. 20) by a score of 5-2.

Francis Marion took two of three doubles matches to secure the doubles point, before taking five of six singles matches. Gracie Waldron and Khushi Agarwal took a 6-2 victory over Camryn Cassetori and Evan Zannier at No. 2 doubles, while Zoe Heed defeated Zannier at No. 2 singles in straight sets 7-5, 7-5. Argarwal also picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Nargiza Yakhyaeva at No. 5 singles. 

Coker is back in action on Friday (Feb. 26) at home to face No. 20 Queens (N.C.). First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. from the Coker Tennis Courts.
