Women's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Contest to Augusta on Friday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University women's tennis team dropped its non-conference to visiting Augusta on Friday (Feb. 21) by a score of 6-1.

Augusta swept doubles play for one point, before winning five out of six singles matches to get the victory. Tamie Chew earned the lone victory for Coker on the day, picking up a 6-4, 6-1 win over Eva Mirrales-Miro.

Coker (2-1) returns to action on Sunday (Feb. 23) to host Johnson C. Smith in non-conference action. First serve is set for 12:00 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
