Coker Women's Tennis Falls to Carson-Newman
HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College women's tennis team fell to Carson-Newman 5-2 in South Atlantic Conference play on Saturday (Mar. 23).
Charlotte Clarke won twice on the day, picking up a #1 doubles victory with her teammate Tammie Chew, and then winning her #1 singles match 7-5, 6-1.
Lea Weber and Kelli Hurt also won their doubles match (6-4), giving the Cobras the doubles point.
Coker will be back in action on Monday (Mar. 25) when they face Lenoir-Rhyne in another South Atlantic Conference contest. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
